Elephant grass is a major tropical grass and is one of the highest yielding tropical grasses. It is a very versatile species that can be grown under a wide range of conditions and systems: dry or wet conditions, smallholder or larger scale agriculture. Elephant grass is a valuable forage and very popular throughout the tropics, notably in cut-and-carry systems. Vietnam has many advantages in raising sweet and elephant grass by cause of fertile land, stable & pleasant climate. Most of the provinces and cities across the country are suitable for planting these types of grass. In KOTINOCHI, we raise grasses in the highland of Kon Tum province. By means of modern drying and preservation technology, KOTINOCHI's dried grass products retain high levels of nutrients when delivered to customers.

USES:

• Sweet elephant grass has a higher nutritional value than many other livestock grass varieties. In which, crude protein accounts for 19.69%, fat 2.66%, crude fiber 25.06%, nitrogen-free extracts 41.52%, ash content 10.22%;
• The amount of nutrients in both stems, leaves and plants is very abundant, so it is often used as a supplement. Therefore, they are optimally utilized, bringing higher efficiency in livestock, reducing feed costs for users when raising livestock and poultry;
• Elephant grass is a popular and nutritious food source for animals, livestock and poultry. They have the effect of accelerating the growth and development of livestock, helping to improve the reproduction rate as well as bring many other benefits;
• For livestock, sweet elephant grass has a much higher nutritional value than other grasses.
